I haven't had a TikTok breakthrough in two years until now. This is the exact video and those are the exact words of my micro-influencer clients. So first of all, part, you. There is an ART to embarrassing yourself online. Online. Build your close bestie community. Stick with me because it's going to feel a little bit cringy, but I want you to remember that number. The version of yourself you show online matters. Can maybe you can relate to her, okay? The version of herself that she was showing online was friendly, polished, palatable, definitely likable. But she didn't have that like super vibes community. And there's because there is a gap between her and her audience. If you want people to care about you, they have to see themselves through you. And one of the ways to do that is to be a little bit embarrassing. Okay? We all have something. Okay? Maybe you're a little bit of a sweaty girl trying to figure that out. Maybe the content. Struggling with whiteheads, that's the content. You have the vocabulary of a fifth grader and you want to change that. Perfect. That's the content. Being shy, mysterious, holding back. We as content creators are the first ones in class to raise our hand when it happens. What happens? People follow. And don't you want other people to follow you? So be the person to talk about relatable, once with because you're going to make them feel so seen and validated. Oh, and that's not even the best part. Because when I gave her this idea, I had a little inkling that it would perform well. It did. And now we are starting a new series. So embarrass yourself a little. It's fun. It's freeing. Break a leg.
