I know the thing is to focus on building an audience, but I want to shift your perspective to focus on building a community. Right. Because you can focus on building an audience all you want, but it takes a deeper level of understanding and strategy to build a community where your people feel understood. Right. And a community is just a deeper connection. And a community is what is going to help you propel you forward to reach your goals. Your community are going to be people who refer you out and talk about you, where they are doing a lot of the heavy lifting, marketing wise or promotion wise for you because you've built that deep connection. And to build a community, it's important to build a sense of belonging. And there's three ways to be able to do this. Number one is a shared identity. And that comes from creating like identity based content. So I talk a lot about multi passionate. I'm like, if you're multi passionate, that is like a shared identity. Your shared identity could be like highly ambitious ADHD women or maybe it's like stay at home moms who are founders and entrepreneurs. You want to be able to use this shared identity and your content and really like build identity based content. So your people will kinda see themselves in that content and identify like, this is really, really me. That's gonna help build that community. Number two is a shared language. This could be words, phrases, inside jokes, things that you really utilise within your community. This might not be like growth content, but it's more community based pop content that your community actually gets and understands. This could also be certain concepts and frameworks as well. And number three, you'll hear me talk about this a lot. Shared beliefs. What do you stand for and what do you stand against? You need to be able to state your beliefs on certain things. This is going to attract your community, but repel the wrong people who just don't agree, and that's okay. You're not here to please everyone. So this is going to be beliefs that you stand for in your world view, in your perspective and things that common enemies, things that you really stand against. What are you anti right? And like, say it with your full chest. So shared identity, shared language and shared beliefs are really great ways to kind of build belonging and community. So yes, focusing on growing your audience is very important. But I also you want you to focus on adding these elements into your content to turn your audience members into actual community members.
