So you want your man to take photos of you like this? Well, you come to the right place. This is mine. And I'm gonna need both of you to be sat for the session cause we're gonna go through the exact game plan together. Now, this first one is for both of you. Let's go through super, super simple camera settings. Let's go through super, simple camera settings. This is the Canon G7 X Mark 3. This is what we use for those photos. Now, you're gonna have all these options. I don't want you to get overwhelmed. So go back and forth between P and SC N. Then you can also adjust the brightness. I usually like to keep it at negative one, negative two. Negative 2. And then when you turn on the camera, you can adjust the ISO by clicking right here and sliding. So remember, if it's really bright and sunny, you might wanna turn the ISO down. If it's really dark and cloudy, you might wanna turn the ISO up. We don't need to be playing with all the buttons to get a really good photo. No. And this is for my bestie girl. I'm holding your hand. You cannot yell at him. You cannot yell at him. This is something I learned very early on. Podcast editor, aka like my man, when he is taking photos of me and I yell at him, I'm not even joking. I've never said anything about, like, feeling anxious or overwhelmed. But if I yell at him about photos, I've never seen a man more flustered and overwhelmed in my life. Like, that is the closest thing to anxiety that he will ever feel. So we must use calming, positively affirming words. The photo simply will not eat if you are fighting. Now, to the person taking the photo, there's a few very specific notes I want you to keep in mind. All I want you to remember is 1. Home base, 2. Zone 1, 3. Zone 2. This is your home base. Then you can go a little bit closer. So still full body, a little bit of space below the feet, but there's still space above her head. Then zone two, this is also called a mid, kind of at her thigh, but again, there's still space at the top of her head. And while taking her photos, you need to be sounding something like this. You look absolutely incredible. I'm the luckiest guy in the world. Okay, right now, you are at full body space below your feet, a lot of space above your head. Now, if you're communication is key, just like top of your thigh, a little bit above. I can't even tell you how helpful when you're talking, I never want you to hold it at eye level. You're always gonna hold it chest or lower. Exhibit A. Unless she's going for a very specific look. Now I'm gonna rapid fire some things I want you to keep in mind. I'll also put it up here for you to screenshot. Always wipe your lens. Phone, camera, iPhone, I don't care. Wipe it. Something that podcast editor always does when he's shooting is after a few shots, he comes up to me with the camera. HOW DO THESE LOOK? HOW CAN WE MAKE IT BETTER? Those two little magic questions are the difference between peace and a full on fight. Watch out for tags or like the clothing strings that hang out clothes. And lastly, accept your fate. You're gonna work. You're not gonna bitch, you're not gonna moan. Treat it like a video game, something that you're gonna win. Send this to whoever you wanna take your photos and happy shooting. Break a leg.
