I decided to start making my own heirlooms and this is my first one. I've wanted a pink diamond ever since I tried on one back in January, but I did not realize that designing a ring was this complicated y'all. I had to choose the band size, whether I wanted 1.8, 2, or 2.5 millimeters. And it's honestly crazy how it completely changes how it looks on your hand. Then we decided between the settings, doing a low or a basket high profile. And even the gold, if I was going to do 14 karat or 18 karat. Every little detail matters and makes such a difference in the final product. I really want this ring to be something I can wear forever and eventually pass down.
