This 1800s building has a secret in the basement. Today we're in the basement of a building that I recently bought but knew nothing about. Turns out it was built in the 1800s and one thing that I keep hearing over and over is that there's a secret tunnel in the basement that leads to the river. Let's look for the tunnel together. It looks like this room in the basement's been filled in with dirt, but I swear I think that's some kind of archway there on the back wall. It's hard to get a good angle, but I think this is better. I'm going to try to show you what it looks like on the inside. I mean it's obviously filled in, but it's still very clearly a tunnel. Actually, we found two archways, but the first one there would lead from like room to room inside of the building, but this one definitely leads outside of the building. I was reading the comments on the last post and everyone's saying we should dig this out. And as bad as I want to, I don't think we could get Dad on board with that. I honestly wasn't expecting to find this today, but mission accomplished.
