The Creator Trap: Going Viral vs Being Seen Farron Clark Kanaan Pitan Sofia Petrillo most smart creators have moved away from wanting to go viral it's less about see your content and more about who sees your content there are countless stories I've heard of creators being stuck in 300 view jail only to get a DM from one of the biggest names in the industry like how does that even happen well here's my theory when you're not you're free to focus on the quality of what you're putting out and that's what allows you to produce the type of content your ideal viewer would wanna tune into that's why I believe so strongly in "F the numbers (s/o Kojo) but never the support" cause just a few months ago Jason Gyamfi racked up WE DON'T GO NINE FIGURES AND COFFEEGO MORE over 180,000 followers almost overnight but now his engagement barely even touches the sides and for me that's the last thing I'd want as a creator cause to keep that up you'll almost feel like the audience is controlling you as opposed to you delivering what you want to give out to them so stop asking more people to see this and start thinking who do I want to see it and then create from there
