I just got done studying what the most influential creators are doing to land deals with brands they actually wanna work with. So this is what I would do if I was a fitness creator and I didn't wanna be boxed into only working with brands like Gymshark and DFYNE. The first thing I would do is lean into making more lifestyle performance content. So instead of posting workout routines and gym fits, I would create content around my meal prep and other healthy habits that are silently driving my progress in the background. This could be showing high protein recipes you've made with your Ninja Creami, your weekly food shop at your favourite supermarket, or even how you're monitoring your recovery to maximize gains with your Whoop. The main thing here is that you wanna naturally integrate these brands into your content. And then secondly, I would widen the horizon of your content. Having discipline in the gym often means that you've got the skills to be disciplined in all other areas of life. So show that. If you're excelling at your 9 to 5 because you're the one that's putting in extra reps after work, show that. If you've got some crazy mindset that's been the difference maker to you staying consistent, share that. The things that pull brands towards creators are uniqueness, genuine admiration for their products and engagement. So if you're able to show all of that consistently, the brands that you really wanna work with will find their way to you.
