Which MacBook should you buy in 2026? I've tested each model heavily and here are my honest thoughts. And if you're thinking about making a purchase, save this video to come back to. First, the MacBook Neo. This is the one I'd recommend for most people. For schoolwork, light editing and browsing, this thing is more than capable. It has 8GB of RAM, which is less than the Air and Pro, but while gaming and having multiple tabs open, it performs surprisingly well. It's also extremely lightweight compared to the other models, which is a huge plus. Next, the MacBook Air. This is the perfect mid-range laptop. You're getting more power than the Neo, a slightly bigger screen, and better battery life. If you're editing heavier videos or running multiple creative apps, this is probably the one for you. It comes in 13 and 15 inches so you can choose between portability or a bigger display. For people who want something that'll handle heavier workloads long-term, this is the best value. Last, the MacBook Pro. This is what I use daily, but it's not for everyone. I edit hours of 4K footage, keep it docked and push it pretty hard. This one's definitely built for people who need maximum performance. Extensive video editing, coding, 3D rendering or anything demanding. And if that sounds like you, then I'd definitely recommend this laptop. For most people though, the Neo is the best option with the Air being close behind. But if this helped you make a decision and you want to see more tech comparisons in the future, like and follow for more.
