just I just made your soft skills the hardest thing to find. Welcome to how to become disgally. This week we're talking about the skills that companies are looking for in the era of AI and how to bring them to the front front. Step one, know what's chess. Research shows that there are five capabilities that AI consistently struggles with. Empathy, presence, judgment, creativity and the ability to hold steady in ambiguous situations. So what does that translate to? Creative strategy, decision making, storytelling, leadership. These are the skills that you need to work with AI and what companies are looking for the most. Step two, know how to translate them. Saying I'm a great communicator does nothing. Saying I navigate a three-way stack hold conflict on a rebrand and got everyone to a yes in two weeks does everything. Use a XY formula, face X, did Y got Z. Run every soft skill through that filter before it goes anywhere near your application. Step three, let these skills lead. Most people put the human stuff at the bottom after the tools, the platforms, the certifications, etc. Instead of letting them take center stage. Put your most intractable quality in the first line of your bio. Your opening line in the interview, your subject line in a cold email. Step four, claim these skills without apologizing. A lot of people are embarrassed to lead with this stuff because it sounds like they're compromising for not being technical enough. Reports show that creative thinking, resilience and curiosity are the fastest growing skills across every industry. These are what the employers are actively looking for. When them like a competitive because that's exactly what they are.
