I just dropped GPT-5.5, and let me tell you, the hype is real. Here's what I built with it. So I was in ChatGPT and I was like, I want to build a simple community game in Codex, maybe something with music. Give me ideas. It gave me five ideas, each better than the last. One of which was a better version of an idea I had a few months ago. You draw in a community garden and based on your drawing, you add to the community sound. So we started brainstorming and this is where it blew me away. I switched to the GPT-5.5 Pro model and usually when I do this flow, it asks me questions that are pretty obvious in hindsight. But after 76 questions, we had mapped out almost every detail of the user experience. How the music would get made, how the drawing would happen, and how the architecture would work so it could support lots of users and moderate them automatically. Time for Codex. I switched to GPT-5.5 with the extra high intelligence setting. I dropped in a summary of the brainstorm and told it to implement the first stage of the concept. The core experience was really solid out of the box, but it needed some vibes. So back to ChatGPT where I explained what it sounded like and what I wanted it to sound like. Then asked for a Codex prompt to help me guide it. Back to Codex, a few minutes later and it sounded like a Zen garden. But we needed to rework the design. I redesigned every screen to add more padding and simplify all the touch points and I had it guide me on how to add a custom texture so every flower would feel hand-drawn. I dropped in a few flowers and wow, that's beautiful. You can build with GPT-5.5 right now in Codex and ChatGPT, so go give it a try.
