I finally just figured out how to make fake texts on your iPhone. So it looks like anybody that you want from any contact with any photo is texting you. I have an app that I built to make it happen. It's called Real Fake. Here's how it works. You click it, and it's gonna ask you a couple of questions. First, you're going to have to put in your own personal contact. So I'm going to type Max, and I'm going to add my own personal contact. You got to do that every time. I wasn't able to find a way around it. Now we're going to add the first name of our fake contact. First name, Taylor. Last name, Swift. Swift. Swift. Done. Now we can add a fake contact photo if we want, but you don't need to. It'll generate the normal contact photo uh if you click don't. But great. And now how many texts should the fake contact send? I'm going to say uh just one, but you can set any amount. And then what is the text going to say? Hey there. Done. Now I'm going to get a text from Taylor Swift. Ha ha ha. Let me know if you want the app down in the comments and I can send it to you super quick. And let me tell you how it works because I'm super proud of what I figured out. So Real Fake is technically not even an app. It's just a shortcut, which is a little native program that runs on your iPhone. But what I programmed it to do is the reason you input your contact up front is because it renames your contact for like five seconds. It changes the first name and the last name and the contact photo of your contact in your phone. And then it sends that text from your contact to your own phone. So you're actually just texting yourself, but it looks like it's coming from somebody totally different. But it saves your contacts original information and after it sends the fake text from itself, it will just revert your contact information back to its normal state. So your contact information doesn't change at all as long as you run the whole shortcut all the way through. Um, kind of creative, kind of fun. But now I can make it look like anybody is texting me and I think that's such a fun prank.
