Max's Apps #54 In The Act

I made a sneaky little app called In The Act that lets you catch people trying to take a peek at your iPhone notifications. Here's how it works. It lets you set up a fake notification. So you can edit the icon and the notification name. And then once you can create a notification. Let's edit the icon. Gonna open it up so that I can edit the icon. This is what it looks like by default, but let's try to set it to something that looks like a message. So maybe something like this. Kinda looks like a text. You'll be inside of a different app after that, so you can just close it and go back and click here. Now we're going to edit the notification name. Uh, we can make it anything. And since we're making it look like a message, we'll say messages. Cool. Now we've edited the name and the icon. So we can go back in and create our notification. We'll make our notifications say, hey, attach. If I attach a photo, you don't need to. I'm gonna say no photo. Now our fake message is set up. You can close your iPhone. And when somebody goes in, they will see that notification there. Click on it. If they click on the notification, it maxes out your volume and it plays a sound. So it's basically a decoy, right? It's a trap. If you leave this in a room while you go to the bathroom or something, your phone has to be unlocked. Had to unlock to work. Click on that notification and it goes into the Shortcuts app, it will play that sound. And from another room, you know somebody was trying to pick your phone. And you can get really creative with this, like just make weird notifications that say weird stuff people don't expect to. To get them to try just for the meme.
