Here's how much I made at each of my internships

Here's how much I made at each of my internships coming from someone who's had internship since the first semester of college. Number one, I'm not sure if you count this, but in high school I was a social media intern for my local school district and I got paid 1500 for nine months. It was super easy because we only met one time in the week, so super easy money. Now moving on to my first real internship in the first semester between freshman and sophomore year, I worked at a credit union where I made $23 an hour. It was a great first experience because it's my first time in a banking corporate environment and I learned so much with a great mentor. Moving on to my second internship where I worked at a loan agency, I was working here from Monday through Friday and I worked here in the fall and spring semester in my sophomore year. I was getting paid $24 an hour plus commission. Every loan that I sold I made $20 and if I sold that loan with collateral, which means the car is attached to the loan, I would make around $80 per sale. Experience was great as well because I got super comfortable on the phone. It's a lot of cold calling, but the commission did stacked up. There was months where I was making three to $400 every single month just on commission. And then moving on to my most recent internship where I worked in the summer between my sophomore and junior year, I worked in insurance, a Fortune 100 company and I was getting paid $25 an hour. This was a great experience as well. Office was way bigger. I started having coffee chats, meeting executives and I learned so much in just a short amount of time. And then on my internship that I'm going to start in a couple weeks, I wanted the biggest firms in America. This is going to be between my junior and senior year of college. We're making $29.50 an hour. Considering how big the company is, I was thinking it was going to be a little bit more, but as always, you do it for the experience and not the pay.
