Here's the simplest guide to building an AI agent in Cloud. This is what the power user is doing with it. So save this for when you're ready and follow me for more practical easy AI tips. So firstly, get the cloud desktop app, go to co-work, that's the agent built into cloud that can actually do work on your computer, not just chat about it. And firstly, make a folder wherever you normally keep things on your computer. Could be your documents folder. For me, it's my Dropbox folder. And just call that co-work OS. This is the home folder that you're going to use for everything you do with Cloud. And all you need are two simple text files and this will become like having an actual colleague. You can write them yourself or just ask Cloud to write them for you and answer whatever questions it asks you, okay? They can evolve over time. So for now just keep it short and sweet. So the first file is Cloud.md.md means it's a mark down file. It's just a really simple type of text file. This is going to be your global rules. Who you are, what you do for work, who's in your family or team, the tools you use, your tone of voice. Cloud will read this at the start of every single work session. Quick sit while you're here for most stuff and for this kind of thing, don't use the Optus model in cloud. That's the most advanced one and it really eats up usage. Just save that for tasks with like three or more steps that are dependent on each other, you know, really complex things for something like this, switch down to Sonic and you'll hit those usage limits far less often. Right, so you've got your cloud.md. Now we're going to set up sub folders one for each project or area of work, maybe personal finances, a home proving project, a new website, a specific client, that kind of thing. And every time you start a new project, you'll create a new folder here. And each sub folder gets its own cloud.md file. And the rules there stack on top of the root ones that we just created. So both get red at the beginning of a session in this project. Again, you can write this yourself or just ask cloud to do it and ask you a few questions to find out what it needs to know to do that. So now cloud knows what it's doing and why, the next file is a memory.md file. And this is where Cloud learns, remembers stores the stuff worth knowing long-term about each project. And that will grow over time. Cloud knows to update it, but you can also explicitly say in your home improvement project. Remember that I never want BGE on the walls and it'll save that fact in there. So it really is like working with a colleague who learns and remembers and improves over time and that's what separates this from just using a chat box. Now go and connect some apps. This takes it to a whole other level again. So things like Gmail, Google Drive, Google calendar, any other apps that you use and you see in the list of available connectors in your settings, add them. So now we're ready to work and anytime you start a new project, open co-work, create a new folder, ask Cloud to set it up as a new project and ask you questions so it can write a useful cloud.md and memory.md file for it and now you're using Cloud like the pros.
