I built my portfolio to seven figures at 26 years old and these are the top three ETFs that I hold in my portfolio. I've been investing consistently for almost six years. Make sure you do your own research, this is not financial advice. And if you want to learn tips on how to level up your finances, be sure to follow me for more. ETF #1: VTI. My biggest holding by far is VTI, which stands for Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund ETF. I like this fund because it has a low expense ratio. An expense ratio is the annual fee a mutual fund or exchange-traded fund (ETF) charges its investors to cover operating costs, such as management, administration, and marketing fees. Expressed as a percentage of your total investment, it is automatically deducted from your returns, making it a crucial metric for long-term growth. And it tracks the stock of all publicly traded companies in the US stock market. So you don't have to pick and choose companies to invest in. ETF #2: QQQM. My second top holding is QQQM, which stands for Invesco NASDAQ 100 ETF. This ETF tracks the top 100 non-financial companies globally that are doing a lot of tech innovations. So naturally a lot of the companies on this list are heavily weighted in the tech sector, even though VTI and the US economy as a whole is heavily weighted on tech already. I am personally very very very bullish on the tech industry as we've recently seen with AI. ETF #3: VXVX (a mutual fund). My third top holding is VXVX, and this stands for the Vanguard Target Retirement 2065 Fund. This fund is in my 401k account and is essentially a mix of stocks and bonds. And what I like about this fund is that when you are young, it's mostly gonna be allocated in high growth stocks with a little bit of bonds. And as you age, it will become more and more conservative. I don't have to go and manually change allocation. So I like that hands-off approach.
