Step-by-step how to connect Claude to Facebook ads so you can get better insights and make better decisions in your ad account. Step number one, open up Claude, go down to your actual profile and then hit settings. From there, find connectors and then you may have to go to this customize tab which is fine, but you'll open up all your connectors, hit this plus icon and then add a custom connector. From there, you can title this custom connector something like Facebook Ads MCP and then just make sure you type in this custom URL which is going to be https://mcp.facebook.com/ads. Just go ahead and hit add. From there, it's going to bring you to this window where you can connect and sign in to your actual native Facebook ads account so you can actually pull all your ad accounts in there and it can select the right ad account when you're asking it questions. So just hit continue. From there, it's going to ask you, do you want us to have access to any future ad account or do you want to select one ad account in particular that you want us to access? I'm going to select this one and then select the right ad account. So go ahead and do that on your end. From there, go ahead and hit save. And just like that, your Claude has now been connected to Facebook. So real fast, very important before you move forward and start prompting this, go to your connector and make sure that you leave things on needs approval. You do not want Claude to just have direct access to approve everything. You want to make sure that you're approving things unless you're very, very comfortable with Claude at this point, but you do not want it to be making changes on your behalf without you knowing. So make sure everything that it gives you back needs approval and you have to say approved for it to run a specific task. Again, this is more so a precautionary measure. If you don't care, then you can leave it on always allow, I just do not recommend it. After that, here's how you'll structure your actual prompts when it's set up. You say use your actual connector name, so Facebook Ads MCP is what we named ours, to tell me if the ad account that I connected, which in this case it's Messenger International, has a payment error currently. So if I run this, say this, it should run. You might have to do some allow permissions on this because again, we need to allow it. We don't want it to always be able to have access, so we'll allow once. And after I give it permission, it says yes, the Messenger International account has a payment or billing issue. And so, if we click into here, look at this, just went, this just happened yesterday where we have an issue with the account, payment error. So, again, you can use it for more things for data analysis. This is what I'm probably going to do once this payment error gets lifted. But just a quick use case of how you'll actually prompt it once your connector is set up and how to structure your prompts.
