Weird girl travel destinations episode 1. Every weird girl needs this one on her bucket list, trust me. Imagine sunny Tuscany, you get out of your convertible and you see the entrance to another world. It's literally just a big wall with a circular hole, specifically designed to feel like the threshold between this world and somewhere else. You go in and you see a garden full of eccentric mosaic sculptures up to 15 meters tall and each one is a major arcana from the tarot. It was created by Niki De Saint Phalle and it took her 17 years to build it. And here's the weird girl part that I'm obsessed with. While working on the project, Niki actually lived inside one of the sculptures, the Empress. There was a bedroom, there was a living room, there was a kitchen and each wall is covered in mirrored glass. So this place is called the Tarot Garden and it's in Capalbio Tuscany.
