Pay in £1,000 (Note that this doesn't have to be all at once; you could deposit £200, take it out, and put it back in five times) 3. Make one card payment It would be a good idea to keep your Nationwide account active for the Fairer Share scheme they run every year. Simply holding a bank account with Nationwide and fulfilling the eligibility criteria would make you eligible for that £100 payment every single year, which could be useful.
