Miami is genuinely one of the hardest places in your 20s and 30s to make friends in. And that's because half the people that live here live in three months. And the other half think they're gonna be friends at a club. This is why I started hosting happy hours just as a casual way to meet new people. No name tags or any weird stuff like that because if I'm wearing a name tag to an event, I already feel awkward. I have now hosted six happy hours and I'm hosting another one next week in Brickell.
