So I, I spoke to this girl who did the internship and got a full time gig. It was the same program as me. I said, B, how much are you getting paid right now? I need this to negotiate. She was like, I don't wanna tell you that. I was like, why not? We're on the same team. This is the problem. You're thinking you're on some other team. It's me and you, B, against the world. What's going on? Tell me what you're earning. And she refused. And I was like, do you know what? Now I understand how it's so easy for us to stay broke. Now, the problem of flat wages in the U K. Are much bigger than what I just described. But I'm telling you what's not helping is not being able to have an open conversation with your colleagues about who's earning what, because that's only serving your employer.
