England's historical banknotes are changing for the first time in over 50 years. Why is the Bank of England changing this theme to nature? And does this mean that we're going to see Winston Churchill replaced by a fox or a hedgehog? We decided that we want to produce a new series of banknotes with new security features to make them even more counterfeit resilient. To make sure that the public can differentiate the old and the new notes, we're bringing in new images, and we decided to ask the public what they would most like to see on the banknotes. And last year's public consultation, the public were in favour of nature, which I think is going to be great for security features and a great way to celebrate the UK. So how are you going to decide what animals go on the banknotes and how can the public have their say? We definitely need the public's help on this. We've launched a public consultation that runs till the 3rd of July. All the information's on our website, so encourage the public to nominate their favourite animals. Lots of ways to get involved and shape the currency. I'll be voting myself. I'll be voting for yourself on the note. Oh yeah, that does sound like I'm voting for myself.
