If you watch videos about money, here are three red flags you need to look out for. If you see any of them, there's a good chance the creator's priority isn't helping you, it's making money out of you. Flag number one: flexing a luxury lifestyle. Is the person in the video showing off a luxury lifestyle or flexing? Cars, designer, locations, it's all to make you think they're successful and gain your trust. But just keep in mind this stuff is very easy to fake and they're not showing you for no reason, which brings us on to flag number two. Is the person in the video selling something? It's normal to see people selling things like courses, products, and mentorships, and that's not the problem. It's how they sell it. If they're trying to pressure you by saying it's a limited time offer or there's only a few spots left, they're trying to get you to act before you think, so walk away. Also, take any customer results or feedback with a pinch of salt. They're only going to show you the wins, not the people who lost money or got nothing from it. Flag number three: is the person in the video trying to take you off the platform? If someone's pushing you onto a private Discord, Telegram, or WhatsApp group, you need to be careful. Off-platform is where the real selling starts because compared to social media, there's less rules, less oversight, and less people to challenge what they're saying.
