3 things I wish someone told me before I started my business. Like most people, I used to work at corporate job that I hated. But it's now Wednesday at 3:00. I'm about to put myself in online, have some pizza and I now run a $40 million business. So, if you're thinking about starting a business, here are three tips that should speed up your journey. So, tip number one is to build a product with immense value. At the end of the day, everyone wants to be a millionaire, but they don't work through the inputs required to become a millionaire. Which is you need to offer something into this world that is so valuable that a number of people, let's say 1000 people want to pay you $1,000 for this product and the best companies are constantly obsessing over how can I make my product or service more and more valuable over time. Tip number two is to maximize distribution. So basically, what I mean by that is a lot of people think that if you build it, they will come. Basically, if you build a great product, you will immediately have a great business. That is very much so not the case. Especially in the world of AI, where any of us can build an app in just a couple seconds. The thing that's going to separate you versus all of your competition is going to be not you have distribution or attention for your business. Otherwise, you're not going to be able to cut above the noise. Well, strong. The last step is also the hardest thing took me many, many years to learn, but has paid off the most and is the number one thing that got me from a million to 10 million plus. And that is specifically to think in system. Where what I mean by this buzzword is that when you first start your own business, it's just going to be you. You're going to hustle to land all of your first customers to make your first content, to build the first version of the the service. But if you want to scale that business, if you want to eventually hit a million dollar or 10 million dollar plus or a billion dollar plus, you need to start thinking about how can I build a repeatable system or machine that compounds and grows without me needing to be in the room. So if you want to learn more of this system's based thinking, which is really an engineering mindset. Then one of my favorite books on this specific topic is a book called thinking and systems by Denise Meadows. It's like 150 pages. I highly recommend reading. And so the best way that I found to think about how to solve this problem, how do I build a machine that makes money for me in my sleeve. And so if you follow all three of these tips and never ever ever give up despite the struggle of circumstances, then maybe one day you'll be eating dino nuggets in your kitchen too.
