It's not a coincidence that I sold donated most of my wardrobe after getting engaged... When you enter the bridal chapter of your life there's suddenly this pressure to become the best version of yourself for one single day. But for me, it became about so much more than just the wedding. I wanted to put my best foot forward in every part of my life. And rebuilding my wardrobe from scratch became the driver in that. Because when I started to dress like myself and for myself, my confidence increased. I started getting compliments. And it's hard to explain, but I really felt like I had my glow back. Since getting engaged, I've spent hours scrolling the internet looking for bridal outfits that don't feel overly obvious, and that don't feel like a copy of everyone else's Pinterest board. But I've got a secret weapon, and that's my stylist Kate. Kate has helped me to create a timeless wardrobe that I absolutely love, and she's taught me so many valuable styling lessons, introduced me to brands I'd never have found on my own. And I appreciate that not everyone can afford a stylist, which is why when I decided I wanted to do a wedding wine event with my brand, partner in wine, where we'll be covering how to find your personal style as a bride, how to build a wedding wardrobe beyond just the dress, how to choose wedding wines, your guests will actually enjoy, and how to pair wine with your menu. It's now live and the link is in my bio. Early bird pricing will end on Wednesday, so make sure you grab a ticket before then.
