Let me tell you something. Nothing humbles you quite like adult acne because what do you mean I'm 31 years old and my chin has been looking like this. I started getting hormonal acne on my chin again, and I've had to re-evaluate my whole routine and realize that my skincare routine is not actually acne friendly. Let me tell you, I'm the last person I thought would want to try a blemish-focused skincare line. I am dry, I am sensitive, and most importantly, I want my skincare to really focus on anti-aging. So when a member of the Rodan + Fields advisory board did a skin consult, she immediately recommended the Unblemish treatment serum. The treatment serum is actually this dual chamber treatment serum with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. The reason I like it is because obviously it's going to have that benzoyl peroxide in it to clear breakouts, but it also has a secondary serum to help nourish your skin barrier and help preserve youthful skin. So you're targeting both acne and anti-aging all in one. I have been pleasantly surprised. It's truly the only benzoyl peroxide treatment serum that I have tried that doesn't irritate and dry out my skin. No dryness, no irritation, but breakouts were so much flatter the next morning. So I've decided I'm going to start using the rest of the line to target both my acne concerns and post-hyperpigmentation, post-acne marks, which I'm definitely dealing with. And I honestly really love that I don't have to choose between targeting breakouts versus targeting aging.
