Hook

Hello. These are some little things you can do everyday to increase your luck and increase the likelihood of serendipity and lucky things occurring in your life. No.1 and the thing that I owe so many things to is putting yourself out there authentically. Getting used to doing that without being afraid of judgement, of being cringe, of whatever. Putting yourself out there in a way that feels fun and engaging to you, whatever it may be. And doing that consistently, not doing what you think you should be doing, not looking at other people's strategies and trying to copy the way that they go viral or the way that works for them. Just really saying what you want to say and getting used to doing that and being seen. It will bring like minded people to you that you never would have been able to meet otherwise. It will bring opportunities to you that otherwise never could have found you. It's what brought my first book deal to me. It's what helped me grow my company, grow my career in the direction I wanted to. It's the biggest miracle maker. So if you've got a fear of being seen and being perceived, I swear working on that is gonna massively change your life. No. 2 is reaching out to people that you might wanna be friends with or that you might be able to learn from or work with without necessarily having an agenda. Just getting used to reaching out to people and saying, hey, I like what you're doing, we should grab a coffee. Just talking to so many different types of people with different stories. Letting them know your story and what you're looking for, what you're working towards. And just putting those little seeds out there in the world in the minds of like minded people that then will maybe think of you when the right opportunity arises. Or they'll tell you something or share an idea or an opportunity that's gonna change your life. Just send that message. No. 3 is shooting more delusional shots. Sending the message and going for the thing that has no reason to work out, but then sometimes it will. I do this all the time. I kind of think if I'm getting 100 rejections a year, it just means I'm shooting my shot so many times that that inevitably some of the right things are gonna work out. And it's much better than having zero rejections because at least it means I'm really putting myself out there. So shooting more delusional shots for the sake of it. Getting used to rejection without getting too attached to the outcome. Life changing. The more you get used to doing these things, the more you increase your potential for luck.
