I remember when President Obama asked me to be Secretary of Commerce, he said to me, you've been a CEO, you're used to making decisions. Do you understand that I'm the one who's going to make the final call and can you live with that? And he said, I want you to fight like hell for your point of view behind closed doors, but can you live with it? And I said, yes, I could and of course the thought bubble in my mind was and you've never worked in a family business before. So, anyway, how do you after that decisions made with two opposing points of you brought you. Is the culture people just like yes and go? Sometimes we talk about disagree and commit. You disagree and then you commit. And sometimes we have to remind people that you like disagree and commit when we're going the way you want to go, you want the other people to disagree and commit. This one is where you need to disagree and commit. And you have to remind them of that. And then you have too much noise with people talking about, "oh, well, you know, Chuck made that decision. It was clearly a wrong decision, but he made the decision, blah blah blah blah blah blah. You just have to have a real, you have to have a mature people and you have to have conversations, you have to go back to them and say, look, the decisions made, you brought it to me, you wanted me to make it just because you don't like it. We still have to we got to move. Let's go.
