This is the first time I've
really spoken publicly
about violence
in the home.
And I don't call it domestic
cause I think that minimises
what it actually is.

I watched my beautiful
mum got beaten by my
father.
That scars you forever.

And then that led me to
choose violent
partners as well in
my own life.
It's a hard
story, but I hope sharing my
story is going to help
other people know
that
no matter what life
you can do anything.
