5 days ago I submitted my new iPhone app to the App Store for approval. Two days ago I got rejected. Because I hadn't enabled sign up with Apple, but I had done it with Google. No problem, I fixed it yesterday and resubmitted. Yesterday, I got rejected again. This time because I didn't specifically outline all the features that require a subscription to use, which I'm, whatever, no problem, fixed resubmitted. And then today, finally, after six weeks of building this app day in and day out, I got rejected again. Specifically, because I wasn't getting the macro calculations from my users when they're doing their onboarding. But it's hard to pinpoint exactly what those are because I'm using the best Gemini Pro search model. So it uses all the context from the user searches and then goes and searches to find the best answer for that user. This way, the data can be very contextualized. Regardless, I fixed it and resubmitted. Now the turnaround time hasn't been great. Because I imagine it's because of the influx of vibe code apps, but it seems like they're trying to get faster. So we'll see. Hopefully fourth time's the charm. Cheers.
