POV: You're Opening a Modest Fashion Store in NYC I feel like only the real ones know how hard we fought to get to this stage. Girls, I still remember doing my first pop up in 2023 and generally thinking no one was going to show up. I was so scared. And then somehow over 500 of you guys came. Like, hours insane. And then in 2025, we did a summer pop up for two months, and every single time you guys reminded me why I started this brand in the first place. Like, I truly would not be this far without this community. But I believe it. This is finally happening. I signed the lease, I got the keys. This place is going to be such an important place for the modest fashion community in New York City. See, I've always hated being an online only fashion brand. I want girls to come in person into the store. Try things on, touch the fabrics. It's finally showing the clothes in person. Is that the whole point of fashion? A world where in person shopping is slowly disappearing. I want to make that feel again. So this is the interior design direction that we're going for. I wanted the space to feel very minimalist, feminine, and very calming. I cannot wait to fill this space with so many beautiful antiques, vintage furniture and a space that truly represents my South Asian culture. So I was taking a lot of inspiration when it came to the design itself. The crazy fact about this whole process was this wasn't even a storefront before, so we had to do a major renovation to turn this into one. It has taken us months of planning, construction, and working with contractors to bring this to life.
