After 2 years in AI, here's the BIGGEST mistake breaking into a new NICHE. I think that if you know these tools that code, code, cursor, code, Codex, etcetera, you can break into almost any industry possible. Here's how I would do it. And the mistake I see a lot of people make, okay, is that they'll say, I want to build something in the real estate industry. Fantastic, amazing. But if I were to ask you what do you know about the real estate industry, let's say you're not really in it, but you want to target real estate. And then what most people do is they'll go to AI, they'll go to GPT, and ask them, I have this idea, I want to build this system in this industry. Is it a good idea? Should I build it? See, what's going to happen is that the AI is going to say, yes, fantastic idea, but the issue is that it's way too agreeable. So it's going to validate your idea. It doesn't mean that that is actually the best system, or it doesn't mean that that system that works for that specific industry. It's what I would do instead. I would go into Claude code to tell it to use Apify, find 50 to 100 YouTube videos from professionals, real estate professionals, you know, podcasts, YouTube tutorials, YouTube videos, as many as you can find, speaking of them speaking about the industry, speaking about the day-to-day life, speaking about certain strategies they use, etcetera, even newsletter articles, blogs, etcetera. The whole lot. I would compile all of that into a knowledge base, okay, and give it to Claude code. So now Claude code has basically ingested all of this knowledge, okay, and it's like Neo in the Matrix, Neo puts on his hat, then he downloads all of his abilities, right? That's basically what you're doing. You give Claude code a specific prompt and analyze all of these videos and then start to engineer, give suggestions for systems I can create based on what these people are already doing inside of this industry. That gives more validated than just thinking of something and the industry being agreeable. Now you're genuinely able to build something useful for that industry. But helps. You can use tools like Obsidian, or Supabase, it's kind of like a database to create, you know, a second brain and do all of, you know, people are doing some crazy stuff. But that's how I would go about it. If I was trying to break into an industry and start to build systems for that industry that makes sense. Follow for more free game.
