people were spending 5 figures on sneakers... that is insane to me that a few years ago some people were spending more money on this sneaker than cars out there. Now, then sneaker barely goes for over retail price. These are the Undefeated Jordan Fours, originally released in 2005 and then a sample released in 2018. Where people were spending well over $10,000 to get their hands on this sneaker. To be fair, there was only a very limited amount of pairs released since it was only a sample. Nike and Jordan Brand saw how much people love this shoe, that in 2025 they finally released these to the public again. No one knows the true amount of stock, but there was anywhere from 15,000 to 100,000 pairs released. A lot of resellers thought that this sneaker was gonna go for over $1,000. But as the months passed, the market just kept going down. That you could get a brand new pair of these on StockX for $350. I bought this lightly worn pair in a collection buyout last week for $245.
