They think a coyote is chasing them Oh, she's off! I got her. Stay. Yeah. Hi. She's nice. Yeah. The moment they realized she wasn't a coyote after all I went from being really scared for my dog's safety to being like, "Oh my God, this thing is so cute. How can we help her?" Oh, it's a girl. So my brain immediately went, "OK, let me take her in the car and bring her to the vet." From there, no microchip. So I took to social media, and I'm like, "Whose dog is this?" I was like, "Surely someone's going to come forward." They didn't. Hi! Hi, sweet girl. I kept her on the deck. And then David helped me give her a bath. We're going to get you nice and clean. Good girl. Oop! Hi, little girl! Hi! You want to go see the puppies, don't you? Yeah. You look like a fox. She was the happiest dog in the world. M'kay. Are we all done? And we were like, "Well, we don't want to sleep in the bedroom with her because that's Totoro and Mei's space, we don't want to create tension, they're just getting to know each other" so we actually ended up making a pillow fort in the living room. We're a big pillow cuddle puddle, just having the best time. And we got up in the morning, and it was like she was just a part of the family. Is that the good spot? A week later The update on Sprite She's all vaccinated. Courtesy of Dog Squad, which is a local rescue. She was so brave. Mei is our rescue. She's a 2-year-old corgi. She's the one who has befriended Sprite, and Mei is having the best time. I love her, and other people love her, so it's time to find her a forever home. And she may just be here forever. I'm just going to take it day by day. She followed her heart, and she took a chance on us, and... her life is about to be amazing, no matter where she ends up.
