There’s so much more I wanted to put in the slides so here’s more to his character: - My 8 y/o brother was sad when he was sick and not eating. He begged him to eat his spicy nuggets with him. Spicy food at the time really upset his stomach but my dad ate them anyway to make him happy - He never in his 23 year marriage ever raised his voice at my mom (or me) - My moms friends needed a place to stay when they came to the us. He gave up the master bedroom and slept on the couch - Homeless people would steal from his store but he said he knew they needed things more than him so he would act like he didn’t see anything - always carried cash specifically to tip gas station workers -was everyone’s photographer and videographer at weddings for free - I liked these particular sweets from nyc and he drive two hours to go get them for me - literally would always lend his stuff to anyone who asked. Never asked for anything back - Always told me to come watch sports with him and never spoke in a condescending way because I was a girl. - Would give my mom his credit card to shop and never checked how much she spent even though he didn’t have much - walked uncles and aunts on how to set up their tech and if they couldn’t do it over the phone, he would let them come to him and he would do it for them while he was sick - I lost my baggage and instead of scolding me he went out in the middle of work to look for it and sent me $700 to pay for it back - Never missed a prayer even if he couldn’t stand or sit 🫂
