Coz in order to learn a new language as an adult, you have to pull out time out of your own day and sometimes even money out of your own pocket when no one's forcing you to, and be so, so consistent. Most people in this world do not have the discipline it takes to finish a goal that they've set for themselves. Especially if it takes a long period of time.
