It gives off a subtle scent. The space helps keep the space smelling fresh. In the kitchen, one of my favourites right now is rosemary, lemon, rosemary, and cinnamon. It's simple to make and fills the apartment with a clean, fresh scent. I also put a few drops onto cotton balls and place them inside my vacuum canister. Every time I vacuum, it helps spread that fresh scent throughout the apartment. Your garbage can be one of the biggest sources so I sprinkle some baking soda in the bottom to absorb those odors. It makes a bigger difference than most people think. Lastly, I keep a few plants around my apartment.
