This is how I prep and plan my entire week as a self-employed business owner so that I can have a very successful week. And it all starts on Sunday. I'm about to go and do this, so I thought I'd share it with you too. So, first off, I spend a good amount of my time reflecting on the prior week. What happened that week that worked? How am I feeling? What didn't work? What do I wish I did differently? I just brain dump everything out in my journal and I reflect a ton on the entire week and really focus on like, being honest with myself and figure out what worked and what didn't work. From there, once I've gotten it all out and flushed out my ideas, I move on to figuring out what my priorities for this week are. I try to only pick two to three priorities. I don't pick 10, I don't do one because I can never do one. Just ask yourself like, if I could only focus on three big things this week and move it forward, what are the three most important things that I need to do? Another way to ask yourself this if that doesn't work and you can't come up with anything is if I was looking back at the end of this week, and it was like Friday or Sunday and I looked back, what would I feel proud that I did? Or what would I wish I had done that I didn't do? Like, ugh, I wish I just really pushed this thing forward. Okay, that's the thing that you need to focus on. So since you have those three things written out, the next thing you're gonna do is like work backwards and kinda write out the tasks that are required to get those things done. So like, let's say my goal is to grow on TikTok or like post 10 times on TikTok, then that would mean take the time to film a TikTok, edit it and post it. So and do that 10 times. That was like a very simple example, but you get the idea. You have a goal, what are the tasks or milestones you need to hit to actually hit that goal? From there, you're gonna take that rough to-do list and you're gonna move it to your calendar. Your calendar is gonna be your to-do list and you're gonna kind of create a skeleton or a structure for your week. So everything that you just put in your, like, these are the tasks I need to hit, that gets moved over to your calendar and try to group things kind of like by theme so that you're not switching too much during your day because switching costs is a real thing and we don't want to be like switching all the time. So if there's a day that's kind of focused on computer work, one task or one concept, keep it all kind of organized so you're not like jumping all over the place. And last but not least, add in anything like workouts, your bedtime routine if you wanna do that, if you wanna like get a special dinner with a friend, coffee, any of those other things that you wanna do, put that in there as well. And that is how to structure an amazing week so that every single day when you wake up, you're not spending time thinking about what should I do? You're literally just like following the steps like, okay, now I do this. Check. Okay, what am I supposed to do next? Now I do this. Check. What am I supposed to do next? And anything that you don't finish that day, just drag and drop it over to the next day. And that's how to plan an amazing week. Okay, bye.
