I need you to promise right now that you are not going to judge me. I've been putting off making a video like this forever because I am not the typical type A notion template five planner girly. I get a f*ck ton of shit done, but I am not perfect and clean and organized. Okay? I am chaotic, evil, and mischievous. And I'm only doing things that make me prettier, richer, and smarter until I reach final boss bad b*tch mode. If you are also in the same boat, hello, my name is Jules. I created the prettier, richer, smarter method planner and I have planned with you guys ever because I am so afraid that I'm going to be judged, I'm going to be judged. I just have to accept it. That's me making this video for the way that I plan my weeks. So this is your one and only disclaimer. I'm going to start making this a series, so follow along if you would like. Consider this part one. I'm going to walk you through the structure of how I operate and then maybe I'll let you in on like what I have going on this week because it's probably one of the most chaotic weeks I've ever endured. First and foremost, I like to sit down in my office. Welcome. I have my big Mac computer up. I am jamming to some house music. I have my PRS Method planner. This is the one and only physical thing that I use. I have my not sponsored, highly caffeinated beverage in a new fluted glass. I just tried this today. And it's tea. New favorite, probably. And then I usually like to light a cute little candle. This one is Santal 26 from La Labo. That is the vibe. Okay? And then we crack open the to-do. In my planner, I'll put it up on the screen. I have a weekly planning page. I'm going to briefly explain my planning method to you. I plan my life in 12-week increments, quarters. I started planning like this a little while ago and I have noticed drastic improvements in my life versus yearly planning, yearly goals, a big fat calendar. I can't do that. It's so overstimulating. So we take 12 weeks at a time, daily pages, weekly planning, weekly review. That's it. So every single Sunday, you could do Sunday morning, Sunday night, Monday morning, whatever you want. I sit down with my week plan, and I kind of list out my priorities for the week. I break those steps down further in my daily pages. This is also where if I have any appointments, meetings, deadlines, throughout the week, I'll pencil that in on the actual daily page. This is where my chaos is going to be showing. Say I have a nail appointment on Tuesday at 11 AM. I will pencil that in, and I will also go into my alarms app on my phone and set an alarm for myself at 9 AM on Tuesday that says nail appointment 11 AM. You get the gist. I need reminders all day long because my brain is stranded on an island somewhere. And I need to be reminded of my priorities, my commitments, whatever I have going on throughout the week. That's what I do. I text myself. The most important things that come to my mind during the week for next week. So when I'm doing my weekly plan, my I message is the first place that I check. Don't ask me why I keep it in my I message. I told you, I'm chaotic. But that's what I do. So I'll check that. And then I'll check my notes app. My notes app is where I also talk to myself, but of lesser important things than my I message. So I will check that. And then everything goes into my plan. Okay? I know this sounds insane. This is just the way that I do things. So transparently, if you want me to let you in on this week with you guys, if you are also getting prettier, richer, and smarter, check out the planner. Let me know how it's going for you guys. Let me know what you want to see from these kinds of videos. How your weeks going? Cheers. Love you, bye.
