Listen. It has been a rough couple of weeks, but I know how to bounce back. So these are five things you're gonna do to keep your kitchen consistently clean. But welcome back to my series, Cleanly Men, where I go room by room teaching young men how to take care of their space. Starting with number one, clean counters & stovetop. You're gonna clean your countertops and stovetop. I personally use granite cleaner for our countertops, but generally just find a good surface. You're then gonna hit the stovetop. If you have a glass top like me, I highly recommend Barkeepers Friend. I promise you, it will look like you don't even touch your stove. And number two, polish appliances. Polish your appliances. No matter how clean your kitchen is, smudged appliances can easily ruin that. I use this stainless steel polish by Barkeepers Friend to restore that refined look. Moving on to number three, clean sink (and dishes). Your sink. If you have dishes, make sure to wash them. Next, you're gonna pour baking soda into the garbage disposal to break up any odors. You're gonna scrub your sink with dish soap. For a nice touch, I like to drop in a garbage disposal pod to give it a nice citrusy smell. And number four, clean microwave & dishwasher. Do not forget the microwave and dishwasher. All you need is one lemon and some white vinegar for a microwave. You can cut up a lemon and put it in a bowl of water, microwave it for four minutes, let it sit for a little bit to loosen up any debris, and then you can wipe it down. For the dishwasher, you're gonna pour a cup of white vinegar, the other half of the lemon, and run a cycle so that it can deodorize your dishwasher. And as you finish up, number five, vacuum & mop (of course). And I'm gonna try to be more timely with the next episode. So make sure to follow and stay tuned for that.
