Come Maggie

Come with me to groom Maggie, a Norwegian Elkhound named Maggie. Maggie is absolutely full of personality and I always love when she comes in. I always start with her nails, it's just my personal preference to start with them. And I'm also going to hit them with the drummell and I'm going to shave out her paw pads before the bath. Typically I do this after, but I did notice she had a little bit of sap in between them. And that's always really hard to get out in the bath. So I just made sure to trim it out before. Maggie's owner did say she got into a little bit of chocolate before her groom. So I didn't make sure to watch her and make sure she was always feeling good and not going to get sick or anything like that. As you can tell, she was just her happy self. I wash Maggie today in the deep cleaning shampoo and then a deshedding conditioner. And it's time to get her back on the table for the blow dryer. Maggie is always really good for the blow dryer as long as she doesn't have to stand for very long. And then once I get her all dry and fluffy, I'm going to go in with my slicker brush and my zoom groom and just try to remove as much dead hair as I can. And then it's time for her ear cleaning and her perfume. I want with this beautiful bandana for 4th of July. And look at this fluffy girl, her tail is just a wagon like always and she is so soft and smells so good. I'm going to help her down off the table and she is so excited to be done. She was the best girl today and she can get a treat and I can't wait to see her again in two months. Bye Maggie.
