Come with me to groom Lolo Hey guys, come with me to groom Lolo Lolo is an English cream golden retriever and she comes to see me about every three months. I typically just leave her feathers the way that they are because her owners really like that long golden look. Lolo is a very anxious girl, so I'm really trying my best to go slow with her and just be as gentle as I can. I did hook her up with a blueberry facial today. I feel like this really helps to brighten her face. She wasn't really a fan. Although I do really think she likes the full body massage that comes with the bath. For her bath, I'm first using a deep cleaning shampoo and then after I rinse it all out, it's time to go in with a deshedding conditioner. She loves to make these snoring sounds. I don't know if you could hear them, but she's really not minding this either. I feel like every time she comes, she's getting more and more used to it. After the blow dryer, I'm going to brush her really good. Since I'm not doing a haircut, I just want to make sure there's no tangles or anything in her feather. Then it's time to shave out her paw pads. They look really overgrown, so we're going to take care of that. She's going to be able to grip the floor a lot better. And then I'm just going to clean up those grinch feet. She can get her almond perfume and I'm going to clean her ears. I did notice she had a really dirty ear and she really didn't seem to mind. So I just made sure to clean it as best as I could. And then of course, alert the owner. Look at this beautiful girl! This is her before and this is her after. We just got her coat all spruced up and she's very excited to get down. Of course she can get down. Of course she can get a treat.
