Do you often misplace and don't have an Apple pi-ng it? Automation. To set this up, go to app on your iPhone. Then at the bottom, go to Automations and tap the plus icon here in the top right. Then you're going to create a new message automation. Here, choose any sender. So no matter what device yourself from, this will go off by accident. Then for message contains, create something custom that won't get triggered accidentally. I'll choose "Send Lost iPhone Command" and you can add some random numbers or text if you want to really be sure it doesn't go off by accident. We want this to run immediately. That's important. And then tap next. From here, create a new shortcut. And we only need one action. Just search the actions box here and look for "Play Music". Tap the "Play Music" action here. And then choose any song in your library. I'm going to choose "Thunderstruck" because it's pretty loud right from the start. And if you want to be sure the volume is up on your phone when this automation runs, look for the "Set Volume" action and add this. And then set the media volume to 100%. You can drag the slider way to the right. And now it's gonna be as loud as it needs to be. Tap the blue check and you're done. Now, even if your phone is in silent mode, the screen is locked. Just send your special phrase like "Send Lost iPhone Command" and as soon as your iPhone gets that text message from any phone number or any phone, it's going to start playing that song automatically. Oh, and be sure to follow for more iPhone tips.
