I've been using Macs for years and I just learned this. You know when you have a zip file on your Mac, you double click it, it makes a zip file is still there and you delete that separately? Well, you can change. Go to Spotlight or click the magnifying glass in your menu bar and then search for Archive Utility. Once you open that, it won't look like anything opens. But you'll see up here in left of the menu bar, Archive Utility, go to settings. And then in this little window, you can choose after expanding to move archive to trash. You can choose a different folder to save those files after expanding, all these other options. But change this to move archive to trash. And now when you have a zip file and you double to expand it, that zip file will go immediately to the and you'll just have the expanded files. Had no idea. But follow for more tips, shortcuts, Mac and all the things.
