You guys asked for a tutorial and you know I’ll deliver! 🫶🏻 I am here to deliver and while we're at it, let's make it 4th of July. We're going to take some heat and bond lite and you know the drill if you don't want to sew, you can use heat and bond ultra. The pattern is available in my Etsy shop and all you'll do is print it out and cut out all the pieces. Then you'll take your fabric and iron your heat and bond onto it. Then you'll take your heat and bonded fabric and your pattern pieces and flip them both so they're facing down and then you're going to trace around your pattern piece. And then you'll cut them all out, making sure to be super precise. Once I have everything arranged how I want, I take a piece of fabric and lay it over everything and then we're going to iron them all down. I get asked quite often what the difference is between heat and bond lite and heat and bond ultra. Heat and bond lite is sewable and heat and bond ultra is not. So if you want a piece that's going to last you a really long time, I would recommend sewing it. The appliqué really is that easy.
