You will have to do some type of facial scan verification. Within the app, you'll use the camera to scan your face or your just upload a picture of your ID or something like that. All that just to use Claude? And there's no bypass around this. If you don't hand over this information, you risk your account getting suspended. They don't disclose the information about what triggers the check or about how long they keep that data. It looks like this is rolling out for only regular subscribers, not enterprises or API users.
