Not gonna lie, I was expecting a much bigger reaction 😂 My pregnant daughter has been dreaming about her favorite childhood ice cream, Sprinklers, so I decided to recreate them completely from scratch. They definitely tasted even better than the originals. Such a fun summer treat to make with your kids, grandkids, or anyone who’s feeling a little nostalgic. HOMEMADE SPRINKLERS ICE CREAM BARS Ingredients: • 2 cups heavy whipping cream • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk • Pinch of salt • 1-2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste For the coating: • 2 cups chocolate chips • 1 tablespoon coconut oil or neutral oil • Rainbow nonpareil sprinkles Instructions: 1. In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until light and fluffy. 2. Add the condensed milk, salt, and vanilla bean paste. Fold gently until fully combined. 3. Spoon the mixture into ice cream molds, insert popsicle sticks, and freeze overnight. 4. Melt the chocolate chips and oil in a tall glass until smooth. Have your sprinkles ready before you begin, as the chocolate hardens quickly on the frozen bars. 5. Remove the ice cream bars from the molds and dip each one into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off. 6. Immediately coat with sprinkles, working quickly before the chocolate sets. 7. Return to the freezer for a few minutes to fully harden. Enjoy and happy summer! ☀️🍦 #sivanskitchen #Summer #icecream #sprinkles #pregnant
