Here's our net worth as a double income family living in the Chicago suburbs. So your net worth is going to be all of your assets minus all of your liabilities. So starting with assets, we have cash. This is going to be any cash we have on hand, our checking account, our high yield savings account, and our HSA account because we don't have that invested and there's not a ton in there. So we have $48,245 there. Then we have our retirement accounts. Me and my husband each have 401ks and Roth IRAs. And that comes out to $396,361 dollars. Then we have our vehicles. We have my car, my husband's car, and his motorcycle. Some people include vehicles, some do not, but we have $44,014. And then our home is valued at $590,000. This was based off of an interior broker's price opinion we had done back in 2023. So it has gone up since then per Redfin and Zillow, but I just used that amount. Then for our liabilities, we pay off our credit cards at the end of the month, so those are zero. But we have my car loan, and at the end of May, it was $10,580. And then we have our mortgage, which is $366,078. So our net worth for the end of May was $701,962. Let me know in the comments what your net worth is.
