One question I get asked all the time is ”Should I train to failure?” My answer is usually yes, because most people underestimate how many reps they actually have left. For muscle growth, you want to train close to failure around 1–2 reps in reserve, or all the way to failure. If every set feels easy and you finish with plenty left in the tank, you’re not providing enough stimulus for optimal muscle growth. If you’re starting to make funny faces, you’re getting there!!
