Why it worked

The video uses relatable humor and a common gym struggle (figuring out how to use equipment) to engage viewers. The text overlays add a narrative and a 'secret tip' element, making it shareable for others looking for workout advice.

Summary

The video shows a woman at a hip abductor machine in a gym. She appears confused about how to sit on the machine, tries leaning back, and then smiles knowingly as if she's discovered a better way to use it. The text overlays suggest she is experimenting with different positions to target her glutes.

Structure

Original caption

Hip abductions are most effective to train your upper glutes if you lean back into your seat - why are you leaning forwards? This targets glute maximus and this is null if you train glute max in other ways during the session! Save this glute exercise for your next workout! #lowerbody #GymTok #girlswholift #glutes #glutesday
