Despite their really tragic ending. Padmé Amidala and Anakin Skywalker are theoretically a perfect match. Padmé Amidala and Anakin Skywalker are theoretically a perfect match based on their feminine and masculine archetypes. It was about time we talked about these two. Padmé is a mix of three feminine archetypes, and one of them is quite literal. I do see a lot of the queen feminine archetype in her. Padmé's Queen Archetype Qualities: She is a strong leader and visionary. She has exceptional leadership and communication skills. She can effortlessly command a room. And she's poised, elegant, and at times quite glamorous. I also see quite a bit of the sage feminine archetype in Padmé. Padmé's Sage Archetype Qualities: Because she is intelligent, tactical, and strategic. And she is driven by her deep commitment to democracy and justice. She is highly principled, idealistic, and beautiful. But of course, she also has quite a bit of lover feminine archetype energy. Because even though she is a woman with her head screwed on straight she also very much leads with her heart. She looks for the good in other people. And she is very emotionally intelligent and deeply loving. I also see three masculine archetypes in Anakin Skywalker, and one of them is most certainly the warrior. Anakin's Warrior Archetype Qualities: And he kind of goes back and forth between being a healthy warrior, masculine archetype man, and a wounded warrior. He is deeply loyal, passionate, and loving to the point where he's very different from the other Jedi. Because he really lets his emotions get the best of him. He is rebellious, impatient, arrogant and proud. But he also loves very fiercely and deeply. Interestingly, I do see a little bit of the scholar masculine archetype in Anakin as well. Anakin's Scholar Archetype Qualities: And I think this is partially who he is. But I also think it's definitely because of his Jedi training. The whole Jedi code, or how they do things. is very scholar masculine archetype coded. He has a very strong sense of right and wrong. Even if his sense of right and wrong is not necessarily what's considered right and wrong for everyone else. And scholar archetype men tend to leave this sort of black and white world view of how they think things should work. Of course, he also has a connection to the shadow protector or the wounded protector masculine archetype. Yes, Anakin's Protector Archetype Qualities: he is a deeply protective man and partner. But that protection is fueled by a very intense fear of loss. He is brooding, he is dark. And he has some very real demons deep within his psyche. So before these two end in tragedy, they do have two archetype parents. The Sage/Scholar couple: And one of them is the sage slash scholar connection. They both have that really strong sense of justice. And a very particular idea of right and wrong. And how they think the world should work. The Lover/Warrior couple: But of course, what really brings them together. And makes their love story so passionate. Is the lover slash warrior connection. They are very, very emotional. They are very raw with how they're feeling. And there is a lot of physical chemistry in the warrior slash lover pairing.
